Mille Miglia 1927-1957
The Mille Miglia was a pre/post WW2 road race from Brescia to Rome and back. Sadly stopped in 1957 due to the death of a driver, co pilot, and 13 on lookers! This was the race to be at and enter if you were a high class car owner and extremely professional driver. Most of these races were completed in less then 24 hours, which in the 20's and 30's was an amazing accomplishment. They have started the race again, but it more of a touring event now, with all the cars needing to be an original 1957 make or below to enter. Way to keep the spirit alive in Italy. And yes, the CP Company jacket is the remake of a 1920's drivers jacket!
